ABOUT DYASPORA
Food has never been just food to me.
It is memory carried across oceans. It is culture preserved through generations. It is a language spoken without words.
Every dish tells a story. Every ingredient carries history. Every table creates the possibility for connection.
My passion for gastronomy extends far beyond cooking. I am fascinated by the people behind the recipes, the migrations behind the flavors, and the traditions that continue to evolve as cultures meet, adapt, and flourish.
Food is where heritage and creativity coexist. It is where the past informs the present, and where new stories are born.
Through food, photography, writing, and conversation, I explore the richness of the diaspora experience.
I document the traditions we inherit, the identities we negotiate, and the flavors that remind us where we come from even when home exists in more than one place.
Dyaspora was born from this vision.
It is how we remember.
How we connect.
How we celebrate.
How we carry pieces of home with us wherever we go.
You are not just attending a dinner.
You are entering a story.
You are joining a community.
And once you take a seat at the Dyaspora table, your story becomes part of ours.
